Advocacy

As a 501(c)3, the Nebraska School Counselor Association (NSCA) does not endorse candidates for elected office.  However, NSCA does work on behalf of Nebraska's school counselors to educate stakeholders, both elected and non-elected, on the vital role that school counselors play in the academic success of students.  We help elected officials, appointed public officials, and other people of influence within the education community understand the value of a comprehensive school counseling program that is implemented by a certified school counselor.
