ABOUT THE RAMP AWARD

The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) recognizes schools that have successful comprehensive school counseling programs that align with the ASCA National Model.  This prestigious award is called a RAMP (Recognized ASCA Model Progam) Award.  The RAMP designation is good for 5 years (was 3 years prior to 2016) at which time a school may apply to be awarded another RAMP Award.  This processing is commonly called re-RAMPing. Nebraska has had 10 schools earn a RAMP award while 2 of those schools have gone on to re-RAMP. Information about becoming a RAMP school and applying for RAMP can be found using this link.
